Lecture at St. John’s College on Homer’s ‘Iliad’

Professor Seemee Ali will give a lecture titled “The ‘Iliad’’s Cosmic Seduction” at St. John’s College. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Friday, September 26 at 8 p.m.

Ali is a professor in the Department of English at Carthage College. She received her B.A. from Austin College and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the Institute of Philosophic Studies at the University of Dallas. In 2008 Ali joined the faculty of Carthage College, where she holds a joint appointment in the interdisciplinary Great Ideas Program and the English Department.
