This Chesapeake Bay area themed exhibit features vintage boats on the Chesapeake Bay: schooners to steamboats; wildlife, marshes, small coves, family farms and harbor towns and the varied scenes that define this extensive waterway. Twenty artists painting in oil, watercolor and pastel, also bronze sculpture

This 29th Annual Autumn Celebration of Art exhibition showcases over 25 painters and sculptors’ with over 80 new works of art, many from summer painting trips and plein air competitions. Lois Engberg is the featured artist this year. A Maryland oil painter of classic still life, garden and landscape views, her fresh approach has attracted repeat collectors from across the country.

This historic exhibition features the 100 plein air painters featured in a new book by art historian, writer and artist, Gary Pendleton, published by Schiffer Publishing. All 100 painters will have new paintings in the exhibit; most will be attending both events. Events will include book signing, talk by the author, and plein air painting demonstrations during the day and the reception events.

Meet noted Maryland folk artist, Carol Dyer, Enjoy an exhibition of new paintings of her vintage Victorian era scenes of Annapolis, Delmarva beaches and the historic sites she enjoys painting in her unique style. The original acrylic painting of Dyer’s 2014 Christmas card painting, Christmas in Annapolis will also be on exhibit.

Meet Russian Fantasy and Fable artist, Victor Nizovtsev, Enjoy an exhibition of oil paintings and newly published fable images including Victor’s version of the classic “Princess and the Pea.”
