30th Annual Homestead Gardens Fall Festival opens September 28

color-your-fall-bannerThe 2014 Annual Homestead Gardens Fall Festival opens Saturday, September 27 & Sunday, September 28, and continues every weekend, 11am-4pm, through and including Sunday, October 26. 

The festival is a family oriented event that takes place on the courtyard, barnyard and fields surrounding the store in Davidsonville, MD.  It’s a wonderful outing for the entire family; taking a hayride together, picking your own pumpkin, winding your way through the corn maze are just some of the fun the whole family can enjoy.  There’s live music every weekend, delicious food and beverages, demonstrations, face painting, pony rides and more.  Check our website for a complete list of activities, rides, attractions and entertainment.  www.homesteadgardens.com .

The festival is a family tradition in the community and for the Riddle family as well.   “This is our 30th year for the fall festival,” said Brian Riddle.  “It’s grown enormously since the first festival and we will continue to “grow it.”

Involving the community has always been a top priority to the Riddle family. “We are ever mindful of generosity of the community where we all live and work,” said Riddle.   Attendees will find that each weekend of the festival features organizations whose good work makes our community a wonderful place to live.  September 27, the Annapolis Maritime Museum’s will be on site with their Chesapeake Critters.  Some of the other groups joining in this year are; 4 H Clubs, Wellness House, the Rotary Club of South Arundel County, Food Link.
