Baysox to honor local military heroes with trading cards

Baysox_WebAd_300x250_050614The Baysox will give away a special 27-card set featuring Military Heroes from across the region to the first 1,000 fans ages 18 and older during the game Friday, August 15 against the Trenton Thunder. Many of the Military Heroes featured in the card set and their families will be in attendance for the game and will be honored on the field during pre-game and in-game ceremonies. Come out and show your support for the current and retired men and women from this area who have served or currently serve in the many different branches of the Armed Forces.

Summer Reading Night with glow stick giveaway Saturday, Aug. 16, 6:35 p.m. – The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive glow sticks for a special Glow in the Park display during the postgame fireworks show. Kids who participated in the Summer Reading program at their local library can receive free tickets to the game. There will also be a sports equipment collection to benefit Leveling the Playing Field, an organization that benefits underprivileged children in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore area.

Six Flags Looney Tunes Night Sunday, Aug. 17, 6:05 p.m. – This night will feature special appearances by Bugs Bunny, Tweety and more of your favorite Looney Tunes characters. Members of Louie’s Kid’s Club can pre-register on www.baysoxshop.com to enter the stadium early for a family-friendly movie (Rio 2) and free access to Louie’s Kids Park before the game.
