M&T Bank Stadium will host the United States Naval Academy Midshipmen and the Ohio State University Buckeyes for their 2014 season opener on today –Saturday, August 30th, 2014. The game is a rematch of the 2009 season opener in Columbus, Ohio, when the Buckeyes narrowly held off the Midshipmen, 31-27.

This time, Navy will be the home team on the Baltimore Ravens turf. The Midshipmen have played Army, Notre Dame and Maryland at M&T Bank Stadium and will return to play Army on December 13, 2014.

Final score:  OSU-34 Navy-17

But, the Midshipmen held their own against #5 OSU. Something just fell apart in the 4th quarter.

Next home game will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Saturday,  September 20th when the Midshipmen take on Rutgers University at 3:30pm.

These uniforms by Under Armour are truly bad-ass.  These are a special uniform just for today’s game and will not be worn during the regular season. There also will be a special uniform for the Army-Navy game in December.
