Annapolis Parks and RecThe City of Annapolis announces the unveiling of its park finder web application. This interactive web site allows users to locate nearby parks and recreation facilities while researching the list of the amenities within each park, trail or facility.

“The parks finder web site allows Annapolis residents and visitors alike to create fun adventures and make new memories while enjoying the offerings of our town,” said Andy Costello, Parks and Facilities Division Chief for Annapolis Recreation and Parks. “We encourage all ages to use this new tool as it provides ease and efficiency while navigating through the Annapolis outdoors.”

The City of Annapolis park finder is geared for visitors and local residents. Click here http://gispub.annapolis.gov/parkfinder/ to learn about City parks. The search function allows users to type in a current address and it will identify parks within .5 mile from GPS enabled devices.

While not a Smart Phone APP, the website can be accessed by browser on most Smart Phones.
