Rockin’ Raffle collects more than $1000 for SPCA

SPCA dog posesThe dog days of summer did not slow down hundreds of music and animal lovers Friday evening at the Rockin’ Raffle for SPCA featuring the Reagan Years at Annapolis Towne Centre.

In two hours of selling $1 tickets, volunteers from Cleo’s Fine Oils, organizing merchant of the raffle, collected $1,026 for the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

Following a free outdoor concert by The Reagan Years, a premier 80s tribute band, a drawing was held and Linda Vienna of Annapolis won a collection of gift cards, merchandise and services from select Annapolis Towne Centre merchants.

“We could not be more thrilled with the support for this event,” said Saleta Cameron of Cleo’s Fine Oils. “The SPCA relies exclusively on donations to keep their doors open, and the people at Friday’s concert stepped up to help in a big way.”
