Planting Hope at Willow Oak Farm
Join Chesapeake Life Center and Willow Oak Flower & Herb Farm at 8109 Telegraph Road in Severn for an evening of planting and sharing from 6 to 8 p.m. July 9, 2014. Those in the community who are grieving a loss will learn the symbolic meaning of different plants and herbs; select those that resonate with your memoires, feelings and plans; and plant a lovely pot to take home. Supper for Siblings
For those grieving the death of a sibling, grief support is available through the Supper for Siblings evening meal and discussion time from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 23 at 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD. A light meal is provided. The cost is $10. To register, please call 888-501-7077.
