friendsfarmsFriends & Farms is thrilled to announce that Twisted Sisters in West Annapolis has become the 11th and newest addition to our roster of basket pickup locations. The new location can easily be accessed from both routes 97 and 50 and is Friends & Farms first foray into the Annapolis area. Customers will be now able to retrieve their weekly grocery baskets of local and regional meats, dairy, produce and bread in West Annapolis from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday afternoons.

“Since our inception we’ve wanted to have a presence in Annapolis and it took us almost two years to find the right fit,” said Philip Gottwals, co-founder of Friends & Farms. “The Twisted Sisters are wholly supportive of what we’re doing and share our passion for supporting the local economy. We can’t wait to get started.”

The new location began operations in late April and takes place in the front lot of the shop. Customers are encouraged to browse Twisted Sisters’ collection of vintage and homemade furniture, art and clothing when retrieving their weekly bounty of food. In the future, Friends & Farms plans to team-up with the ladies of Twisted Sisters to organize events celebrating local food and beverages.

Interested customers are encouraged to sign up at www.friendsandfarms.com.
