Londtontowne Symphony season finale scheduled for June 7th

Anna BinnewegThe Londontowne Symphony Orchestra has had a memorable season! Their 10th Anniversary Season. It started at Historic London Town & Gardens on the water with Handel’s Water Music Suite. Then a Halloween concert with spooky sounds, haunted melodies and a costume contest. When the New Year came around there was a winter celebration with the Arundel Vocal Arts Society. And just recently the highly entertaining Bob Brown Puppets narrated the Carnival of the Animals and three very impressive high school students raised the roof with their solos.

And now it’s time for the “Grand Finale”. Saturday, June 7 at 7:30 PM at the Indian Creek School, 1130 Ann Chambers in Crownsville. For this conclusion of its 10th anniversary season, the LSO will present some of Russia’s most beloved music in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite along with Dvořák’s festive and boisterous Carnival Overture. They will also be featuring Zino Bogachek from the Washington National Opera in Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 2. You will want to put this on your calendar now, and be sure to join the LSO in this special grand finale to this season and to their first 10 years of serving you and our community.

Tickets are available online at www.LSO-Music.org.  General Admission is $15, seniors are $10, and all students are free.
