June 7, 2014- Be A Superhero~Run for a Reason 5K/10K Walk/Run/Wheel
Grab your cape and cue your superhero anthem.
We know everyone wishes that they could be some sort of Superhero. Well, now you can!
Join us on June 7th at Quiet Waters Park for our fifth annual “Be a Superhero ~ Run for a Reason” Run/Walk/Wheel and be a superhero for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. New this year is a 10k in addition to the 5k so you can run/walk/wheel to your heart’s content!
The funds raised from this event will provide for children and adults who need vital medications, therapies, respite and other necessary services that will help them live the most independent and successful life possible. For the fourth year, we are partnering with The Bowen Foundation for Autism, a nonprofit that raises awareness and funds for the prevention, treatment, education and research efforts related to conditions along the autism spectrum and to improve the lives of individuals with these conditions.
