Argentinian trio debuts at Chesapeake Arts Center (June 3, 2014)

aca-secaACA SECA TRIO, from Argentina, is making its US Debut and will perform on Tuesday, June 3, at 7 PM at Chesapeake Arts Center 194 Hammonds Lane Brooklyn Park, 7 PM at the With their three voices and instruments, guitar, piano and percussion, the Aca Seca Trio has found the heart of South America in the sublime possibilities of its popular music.  In the songs composed by their own  Juan Quintero and esteemed composers from Uruguay, Brazil and their native Argentina, the trio’s vocals blend and glide over Latin rhythms to create a thoroughly modern sonority that echoes the spirit of the continent’s rich heritage.

The program is free to the public and for all ages on a first come first serve basis.  The doors will open at 6:30.

Aca Seca Trio is presented by World Artists Experiences as a part of their Ambassador Series of World Experiences with Chesapeake Arts Center.
