Law school-lite without the degree at AACC (May 17, 2014)

scales_1Get help understanding your consumer rights in legal situations at the free “Law School for the Public” at Anne Arundel Community College from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in the Careers Center building Room 200 on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.

Presented by the Anne Arundel Bar Association and the Legal Studies Institute at AACC, this popular annual event features local attorneys and judges discussing civil, criminal and family legal issues. Some of the topics include wills and advance directives, custody and visitation rights, identity theft, debts and collection laws, what to know before signing a contract, what to do and say after a car accident, landlord-tenant law, small claims court, estate administration, legalities of business, alternative dispute resolution and collaborative divorce.
