Police searching for rape suspect

On Friday, May 2, 2014 at approximately 12:05 a.m., the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the Mercy Medical Center, 345 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, Maryland for a sexual assault/rape.  The adult female advised the sexual assault/rape occurred on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the 100 block of Oakleigh Avenue, Ferndale, Maryland.

The victim reported she was walking when she was offered a ride by a white male suspect who had identified himself as “Glen”.    Once in his car he pulled to an area in the 100 block of Oakleigh Street where he sexually assaulted the female.  Once the assault was over she was pushed out of the vehicle.

The suspect and suspect’s vehicle is described as follows:

Suspect:  “Glen” , 20-30 year old white male, 5’08 tall, medium build and short brown hair

Suspect Vehicle:  newer model Volkwagon GTI black in color 4 door hatchback, dark tinted windows, chrome wheels with possible red brake pads, and the VW logo on the front had red trim.

Please refer to the attached information sought poster which contains a composite drawing of the suspect.  The vehicle in the flyer is not the suspect vehicle just a vehicle consistent with what he was operating.
