A special cross will be installed on the grassy area on the west side of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church facing Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.
Members and friends of Woods are invited to bring cut flowers from their gardens or grocery store on Easter Sunday or the week following and place them in the wet floral foam that will cover the cross. The stems should be cut 8 to 12 inches or so. The intent is to cover the cross on all sides, top to bottom.
The live flowers symbolize that Christ is alive!
Members and friends should come a little early to services, park their car and walk down to the cross.
Easter services will provide a variety of opportunities for families of all ages in both traditional and contemporary worship styles! All are invited to attend on Sunday, April 20, 2014.
