Hospice gala raises $500,000

Hospice of the Chesapeake’s 2014 Gala attended by 475 local supporters,  raised close to $500,000 to help support the many programs and services provided to patients and families in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties.

Held at the BWI Hilton on March 29, the black tie gala themed “Caring for Life” celebrated the organization’s 35th year.  Attendees enjoyed dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and musical entertainment by Radio City. This year’s gala honored the Creston G. and Betty Jane Tate family for their ongoing dedication and commitment to the Hospice of the Chesapeake’s mission and programs.

The 2014 lead sponsors were the Creston G.
