Another bicyclist struck on Anne Arundel County roadways

bikeaccidentOn April 12, 2014 at approximately 1030 hours a 1999 Chevrolet was traveling south on Solomon’s Island Road just north of Sothern High school. The driver was distracted by other occupants in the vehicle and traveled into the shoulder portion of the roadway striking a bicyclist.  The operator of the bicycle separated from the bike and struck a guardrail. The cyclist was transported to shock trauma with non-life threatening injuries. He is expected to be released from the hospital on Sunday April 13, 2014.
