Champion Realty is proud to announce that Matt Wyble, a sales associate in the Severna Park office, was named 2014 Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Maryland Small Business Week Awards Program. He will be honored during National Small Business Week, May 12-16, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) to celebrate the small business community’s contributions to the nation’s economy.
National Small Business Week has been recognizing the special impact made by outstanding entrepreneurs and small business owners since 1963. To be selected for the “Young Entrepreneur” category, you must be under age 30 and demonstrate three-year evidence of success in sales and profits, increased jobs, innovation and potential.
Wyble joined Champion Realty in 2010 and in the first two years sold more than $14 million in real estate, qualifying him for the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors Distinguished Sales Achievement Club. In 2012 he was chosen for The Daily Record “20 in Their Twenties” list of Maryland up-and-comers based on his professional accomplishments, civic involvement and impact of achievement.
Wyble is serving his third year as an officer on the board of directors for the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce and has been vice president for two years. He’s a lifetime member of The Master’s Club, which is granted to Anne Arundel County agents who exhibit high professional and ethical standards and exemplary sales records. At Champion Realty he leads the “Matt Wyble Team,” which comprises seven licensed agents.
Wyble and the winners of the 13 other categories in the Maryland Small Business Week Awards Program will be recognized at the 30th Annual Maryland Small Business Week Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 15, at Martin’s West in Woodlawn, Maryland.
