It was all hands on deck Sunday for the 8th Annual SOUPer Bowl Lunch for the Light House Shelter at Heritage Baptist Church.

Navy midshipmen (members of the women’s basketball team and football team) ladled soups prepared by Chef Zachary Pope of Roundz Gourmet for approximately 150 people at the annual fundraiser.  The 2-hour event yielded $1300 for the Light House.

Heritage Baptist Church is an affiliate congregational partner of the shelter, offering support and resources throughout the year.
