Pet Loss Workshop Scheduled At Dogwood Acres

Death of a petThose who are grieving the loss of a pet are invited to a small group workshop focusing on helping pet owners learn to cope with their grief.

Conducted by the Chesapeake Life Center, a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake, sponsored by Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat, the workshop is from 1 to 3 p.m., March 2, at Dogwood Acres, 439 West Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD.

Participants will get an introduction on the grief process; share individual stories; create a piece of art to honor their pet; and learn coping strategies through group discussion.
