‘On & About–Water Images’ Opens Tonight At Annapolis Maritime Museum

Mychajluk_HeronHeadMaureen Wheatley, Bryan Greenlee and Delia Mychajluk, all local talented artists, join together to showcase some of their best “On & About –Water Images,” at the Annapolis Maritime Museum.

The art exhibit will open with a reception, free and open to the public, on Wednesday February 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. All artwork will be available for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Museum.

Maureen Wheatley, a part-time Professional Artist for the past 35 years, works in watercolors, pastels and mixed media. At home, Maureen works on clock dials and reverse paintings restoration, pet, house and car portraits, and she creates murals for clients. Maureen is hardworking, patient, and a “people person” who loves to share her knowledge of art with her students.

Bryan Greenlee grew up in Northern Virginia and has been an award-winning artist from an early age. Bryan works mainly with oil and acrylics. He has works hanging in private collections in Hawaii, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, San Diego, and London. As a painter, he is entirely self-taught.

Delia Mychajluk studied art at University of Maryland, University College taking multiple studio courses in drawing, painting, design and photography. Current favorite media include oil paint, photography and digital collage. Delia does not confine herself to a single medium, she creates both two- and three-dimensional pieces of art.

The  “On & About –Water Images” show will be on exhibit at the Museum from February 5 through March 29.
