Annapolis Police Report: Armed Robbery, Theft, Burglary

police-blotter-graphicGood News – On 02/03 Erik Kleis, 21, of Crofton was arrested in connection with the robbery that occurred on 02/02 at 7:30pm in the unit block of Silverwood Circle. Kleis was charged with robbery, second degree assault, theft from $1,000 to under $10,000, and conspiracy to commit each of those charges. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $200,000 bond. Theft from Vehicle – 201400000560 – 200 block of West St – 01/21 at 9am to 02/03 at 10am: Money was taken from an apparently unlocked vehicle.

Burglary – 201400000566 – Unit block of Carver St – 02/02 from 4pm to 10pm: An Xbox 360 game console was stolen from an unlocked apartment.

Theft – 201400000567 – 200 block of Hilltop La – 02/03 from 6:50pm to 7pm: Two locks were cut off lockers at the recreation center and items stolen. A blue Nike athletic bag containing an Acura car key, a brown jacket, and grey Nautica sweatpants was taken.

Armed Robbery – 201400000568 – 1900 block of West St – 02/03 at 8:50pm: Two men entered the business displaying handguns. Both men were wearing masks and ordered the employees to get on the ground. The men took money and fled the business on foot.
