Annapolis Police Report: Armed Robbery And A Recovered Body

police-blotter-graphicRecovered Body – 201300005999 – Unit block of Prince George St – 02/01 at 11:15pm: Officers responded for a report of a body floating in the water near the dock at the end of Prince George St. The body was identified as Robert Stewart, 36, of Annapolis. Mr. Stewart was reported missing on December 6, 2013 when he failed to show up at work. Armed Robbery – 201400000553 – Unit block of Pleasant St – 02/02 at 6:15pm: A 14 year old boy and a 13 year old girl were walking in the area when they were approached by the suspect, a 15 year old boy known to them. The suspect placed what the girl believed to be a BB gun against her head and demanded her cell phone. He took her cell phone charge cord. The 14 year old boy then wrestled the gun from the suspect’s grip. The suspect fled the area on foot and the police were called. The 14 year old turned over the air soft handgun to officers. The suspect was located and charged with armed robbery, robbery, second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and theft. The cell phone charge cord was found in his pocket. He was transported to Cheltenham Youth Facility.

Robbery – 201400000554 – Unit block of Silverwood Circle – 02/02 at 7:30pm: The adult male victim and a female friend picked up another subject known to them to attend a Super Bowl party. The three were walking in the parking lot when the victim was confronted by a man walking up to the group. The man struck the victim in the face, knocking him out. The man took $1,445 from the victim’s pocket and ran. The subject known to the victim ran off with the man who took the money.
