CO Scare Forces Walmart Evacuation.  Crews called to aid an injured employee at a Walmart discovered carbon monoxide levels so high that the building had to be evacuated. Anne Arundel County fire crews were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. Sunday to the Walmart in the 3500 block of Russet Green East, where an employee had been hurt in a fall.

Odenton Cellphone Store Robbed At Gunpoint.  Anne Arundel County police are searching for three men in an armed robbery of a cellphone store Friday night. County police said officers were called around 8:30 p.m. to the Verizon Wireless store in the 8700 block of Piney Orchard Parkway in Odenton.

Police Find 2nd Child Left In Car.  Anne Arundel County police are investigating another case of a child being left alone in a car just days after a mother was arrested and charged with leaving her 4-year-old in a car in the parking lot of the Maryland Live Casino. Police said they were called to the parking lot of the Best Buy store in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle near the Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, where they found a 6-year-old boy who had been left inside a Chrysler Town and Country van.

Man Charged In Destructive Devices Case.  A Glen Burnie man is being held on $400,000 bond in connection with the building of destructive devices. Todd Wheeler is charged with two counts of making and possessing devices. An incident Wednesday night launched an investigation after authorities said someone showed up at a hospital with injuries caused by a chemical or mechanical reaction.
