First arriving units reported that it was a duplex with heavy fire on the first floor. An interior attack was initiated and subsequently abandoned due to the instability of the house.  About 20 minutes later, the fire was placed under control and crews were allowed to re-enter the building to continue extinguishment and to search for any possible victims.

The Red Cross has ben called to the scene, but authorities have not stated if the house was occupied at the time of the fire.
