Explore Art & Literature This Spring At St. John’s College

StJohnsCollegeSt. John’s College welcomes the community to participate in evening and weekend seminars and fine arts workshops, through its Continuing Education and Fine Arts Program. Engage in lively seminar discussions of classic works by Franz Kafka, Anton Chekhov, Shakespeare, and Edith Wharton, among others. The seminars are led by a St. John’s tutor. Participants can also immerse themselves in fine arts workshops such as “Portrait Drawing,” “Landscape Painting in Watercolor,” “The Craft of Story: Fiction,” and others. Fine arts instructors are noted regional writers and artists.

Programs are held on weekday evenings on the Annapolis campus and meet once a week for six to ten sessions. Weekend seminars and fine arts workshops meet two times over the course of one weekend. All classes are open to the public, individuals 18 and older. Spring classes begin February 8. Tuition ranges from $135 to $210. An additional materials fee may be required.
