Armed Robbery At Odenton Verizon Store

verizon-wireless-logoOn January 3, 2014 at approximately 8:26 P.M. officers from the Western District responded to the Verizon Wireless Retail store located at 8761 Piney Orchard Parkway in Odenton for a robbery of the business.  Officers learned that three black male subjects wearing all black clothing, gloves and masks covering their faces entered the business.  One of the subjects displayed a black handgun to an employee victim and demanded phones and currency.

The suspects obtained an undetermined amount of phones and currency and fled from the business.  Witnesses observed the suspects exiting the business and getting into an older Jeep Grand Cherokee silver in color.  The investigation revealed that the Jeep used in the robbery was stolen from the nearby 700 block of Linden Grove Place between 7:30 P.M. and the time of the robbery.  The suspect vehicle was recovered nearby in the 1000 block of Autumn Gold Drive shortly after the robbery.

Suspect #1 was described as being a black male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, slim build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask over face, black gloves and armed with a black handgun.

Suspect #2 was described as being a black male, approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall, slim build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask over face and black gloves.

Suspect #3 was described as being a black male, approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall, slim build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask over face and black gloves.
