Anne Arundel Schools Feel Social Heat Over Weather Decision

icyroadsWhile forecasters predicted an icy commute, and neighboring school districts, including Anne Arundel Community College, delayed the start of school this morning, Anne Arundel County Public Schools started on time.

Anne Arundel County Police and Annapolis City Police reported treacherous conditions throughout the county with dozens of accidents reported. The school made a statement at 8:30am this morning and are feeling the heat from angry parents on their Facebook page. (Note, these are live embedded posts. Twitter was  alive this morning with countless reports of accidents.


And AACPS was also feeling the heat.
