Police: Mom Leaves Child Alone While In Casino.  A 24-year-old Baltimore woman faces child neglect and abuse charges after police said she left her 4-year-old child in the car unattended for more than eight hours. Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Anne Arundel County officers were called to Level 4 of the Maryland Live! Casino parking garage at 7002 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover after getting a call of an unattended child in a parked vehicle.

Millersville Man Critically Injured In Crash.  Anne Arundel County police said a 23-year-old Millersville man sustained life-threatening injuries after the vehicle he was driving crashed. Traffic investigators were called to Brightview Drive, west of Sunnyview Drive, for a report of a single vehicle crash around 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Residents Asked To Snap Pictures Of High Tides.  Maryland officials are trying to start a new photo trend as we head into the New Year. They’re asking people to snap the shorelines as part of the King Tides initiative of 2014. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources representatives want residents to take pictures of high tides along the state’s shoreline as a way of documenting the effects of climate change.

Man Arrested After Pasadena Stabbing.  Anne Arundel County police said a man was arrested after a domestic argument turned into a stabbing in Pasadena. Officers were called to the unit block of Nicholson Drive in Pasadena for a stabbing around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday. Police said officers found a man in the driveway with a stab wound to his hip area, while a woman was found inside the home with a laceration to her hand.
