Arrest Made In Fatal Laurel ShootingAnne Arundel County police have arrested a man in connection with Tuesday night’s fatal shooting. Dequeone Demetrius Oates, 22, of Washington, was charged with second-degree murder after his arrest in Washington, D.C., on Friday. The charges stem from a shooting shortly before midnight Tuesday, when police found paramedics working on a man with several gunshot wounds to the upper torso near some homes in the area of Ridgemoor Drive and Russett Green West.

Woman Robbed At Knifepoint At Wawa. A man robbed a woman of her purse at knifepoint Friday evening, police said. Anne Arundel County police officers were called around 8:15 p.m. Friday to the WaWa convenience store in the 7600 block of Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie, where a woman left the store with her grandson and was robbed of her purse.

Armed Robbery Suspect Surrenders.  A man identified as a suspect in an armed robbery of a gas station earlier in this week turned himself in Friday, police said. Anne Arundel County police said Keith Lamont Martin, 51, faces charges for the armed robbery of the Mobil Gas Station in the 2700 block of Annapolis Road in Hanover around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Man Arrested In Thefts Of Luxury Vehicles.  Police have arrested a burglary suspect accused of ransacking an Anne Arundel County car dealership and making off with three luxury vehicles. Raheem Anderson, 44, is facing a long list of charges in the case. According to investigators, officers found windows smashed at the KB Auto Emporium in Glen Burnie.
