Developing: Friday Night Stabbing In Downtown Annapolis

| December 29, 2013 | 1 Comment

StabbingEye On Annapolis has received several reports of a stabbing that occurred late Friday night  possibly in the first block of West Street in downtown Annapolis.

At this point, we are waiting on a response from the police for further information, but from witnesses on the scene, there was some sort of fight at or outside of Stan and Joe’s Saloon which resulted in a person being thrown through the large plate glass window of the establishment.

From other witnesses, at about the same time, police were on Main Street near the Jimmy John’s restaurant investigating what appeared to be blood on the sidewalk.

It is unknown if these two incidents are connected or if this may have involved any supporters of the University of Maryland or Marshall University. Marshall had just defeated UMD earlier in the evening at the Military Bowl.
