2 Answering Facebook Ad For Cellphone Robbed.  Two people were the victims of a robbery in Severn after they answered a Facebook ad to buy a cellphone, according to Anne Arundel County police. The victims, who are from Virginia, told police they answered an ad on Facebook to buy a cellphone and went to the area of Still Meadows Drive and Hawk Court in Severn around 11 p.m. Thursday to meet the person who was selling it.

Slick Roads Remain As Rain Finishes Out Storm.  Snow, sleet and freezing rain slickened roadways across central Maryland on Sunday, as well as the football field at M&T Bank Stadium, as a winter storm blew through the region.  The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning to take effect from Sunday morning through 10 a.m. Monday for Carroll, Howard, Montgomery, Frederick, Washington, Allegany, Harford, Cecil, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties and Baltimore City.

Men Sought In Attempted Robbery Of Man. Police in Anne Arundel County are searching for two men who assaulted and tried to rob a man in Glen Burnie. County police said officers were called around 8:40 p.m. Saturday to the 200 block of Oak Manor Drive for an attempted robbery report. Police said two men got out of a pickup truck, showed a handgun and demanded money.

Police Seeking Man In Armed Liquor Store Robbery.  Police are looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery at a Brooklyn Park liquor store early Sunday, police said. Anne Arundel County police were called to Village Liquors in the 700 block of Church Street around 12:20 a.m. Sunday. Police said a man showed a handgun and demanded money. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled on foot down Sixth Street.
