Couple Robbed After Traveling From Virginia For Cellphone Advertised On Facebook

robberyOn December 5, 2013 at approximately 11:22 p.m. officers responded to the area of Still Meadows Dr. near Stewarton Court in Severn for a report of a robbery of a citizen.

Upon arrival officers met with the two victims. The victims reported they answered an ad on Facebook to purchase a cell phone. The victims, who are from Virginia, advised they responded to the area of Still Meadows Dr. and Hawk Court in Severn. They were met by four male suspects. The victims displayed the money. The suspects pushed one of the victims and took their money and a cell phone. The victims attempted to retrieve their property, when one of the suspects pointed towards his waist area and implied he had a weapon. The victims then stopped and the suspects fled.

All four suspects fled the scene on foot. The victims reported that they saw the suspects enter a red dodge charger and flee the area. Several units/K-9/ Air Unit responded to canvass the area.

The suspects were not located. They were described as:

Suspect 1        Black Male, 19-25 yrs old, 6’0”, Red Polo Shirt, blue jeans

Suspect 2        Black Male, 19-25 yrs old, dark clothing, blue jeans

Suspect 3        Black Male, 19-25 yrs old, dark clothing, blue jeans

Suspect 4        Black Male, 19-25 yrs old, dark clothing, blue jeans
