Man Found Sleeping In School Hallway Arrested.  Anne Arundel County police are trying to figure out what a man who was found sleeping in a hallway inside Brooklyn Park Middle School was doing on Wednesday morning. Police were called to the school in the 200 block of Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn shortly after 7 a.m.

Annapolis Mayor’s Race Too Close To Call.  Annapolis residents woke up Wednesday without knowing who the mayor will be after Tuesday’s election results proved to be too close to call. With preliminary results in from all 16 precincts on Wednesday, Republican challenger Michael Pantelides is leading the race by just 84 votes over Democratic incumbent Josh Cohen. Pantelides received 3,728 votes to Cohen’s 3,644.

Knife-Wielding Man Tries To Rob Teen In LinthicumAnne Arundel County police said they are looking for a knife-wielding man who tried to rob a teen in north Linthicum. Officers and a K-9 officer were called to the area of Camp Meade Road and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday for a reported attempted armed robbery of a person.

Police: Man Had 158 Marijuana Plants In HomeAnne Arundel County police said a man was arrested after detectives found a massive marijuana-growing facility in his Pasadena home, and 11 News has learned that the suspect has a connection to an R&B singer. Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant Monday morning, targeting controlled substance violations at the home on the 2400 block of 230th Street after neighbors complained about a strong odor and constant traffic.
