Armed Robber Strikes At Severn Business.  Anne Arundel County police are looking for a man who robbed a Severn business. Officers were called to the 7-Eleven store in the 500 block of Donaldson Avenue in Severn for a reported commercial armed robbery around 3:20 a.m. Thursday.

Man Charged In Child Porn, Counterfeit CaseAnne Arundel County police have arrested a man on child pornography and forged currency charges. Stephen Edward Evans, 48, of Linthicum, was charged with distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and possession of forged currency.

Annapolis Police Arrest Man In Assault.  Annapolis police said a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged after an assault. Police said Brandon Johnson, of Annapolis, was arrested Tuesday in an assault that happened in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive on Nov. 13. The victim told police he was punched in the face by Johnson, who then drew a handgun and pointed it at him.

Man Escapes Crownsville Mobile Home Fire.  Anne Arundel County fire crews battled a mobile home fire in Crownsville early Wednesday morning. The flames broke out around 4:45 a.m. in a kitchen at a mobile home in the 900 block of Johnson Grove Lane and then spread to the rest of the home, investigators said.
