The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s (CBMM) store will be hosting a special reception on Tuesday, December 3 from 5-7pm, where CBMM members will receive a 25% discount off regular priced items in the store and free gift wrapping services.

During the event, CBMM volunteer and Woodsaic® artist Mary Sue Traynelis will be offering a holiday crafting activity for children accompanied by an adult. For a small fee, children ages 5 to 12 can pick a holiday shaped, wooden figurine to decorate and keep while their parents shop in the store.

The CBMM store is located at the museum’s entrance next to the Crab Claw Restaurant and Patriot Cruises in St. Michaels, MD and features Chesapeake-themed apparel, kitchenware, children’s games, books, gifts, and more. Winter hours are 10am to 4pm daily, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Light refreshments will be served during the reception, with complimentary parking at the Crab Claw offered during the December 3 event. Proceeds from the sale benefit the children and adults served by CBMM’s educational, boat restoration, and exhibit programming. For more information, visit www.cbmm.org or call 410-745-4962.
