NavyFootball2013Today, the Navy Midshipmen and the Jaguars of South Alabama meet for the first time at 3:30pm at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.  The game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network with Brad Johansen, Randy Cross, and Sheehan Stanwick-Burch reporting on the action. The game will be recapped on 1430 WNAV in a live broadcast immediately following the game.

A win today will secure a spot for the Midshipmen in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl to be held in Ft. Worth, Texas on December 30, 2013.

Today is also Senior Day where the 1st Class Midshipmen players and their families will be honored with an on-field recognition. In addition, today is also Scout Day where area scouting organizations receive discounted tickets to see Navy Football.

You can follow the action on Twitter by following the hastags #NavyGameDay or #NavyFootball …or just just keep it right here for live updates (as long as the sketchy wifi in the press box will allow) throughout the game and check back later tonight or tomorrow when we post our on-field photos.
