The Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet returns to St. John’s College where they will perform music for string quartet by Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and Beethoven. The concert, which is free and open to public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on November 1 at 8 p.m.
The New York Times describes the Parker Quartet as “something extraordinary” and the Boston Globe applauds their “fiercely committed performances.” Recipients of the Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance, the Cleveland Quartet Award, and the first-ever Artists-in-Residence with Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) and American Public Media (APM), the Parker Quartet is an audience favorite at St. John’s.
