St. Johns Lecture–The Fairness Of Taxes

St. Johns COllegeWilliam Peirce, Case Western Reserve University professor emeritus of economics, will give a lecture titled “Can Taxes Be Fair? Should They Be?” at St. John’s College. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Friday, October 11 at 8 p.m.

Peirce received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard and his doctorate degree from Princeton University. He taught economics at Case Western Reserve University from 1966 to 2001 and was the Libertarian candidate for governor of Ohio in 2006.
