Friends Of The Light House Hosts 23rd Annual Bountiful Harvest

BHlogo2013Final_shortOn Saturday, November 2nd, the Friends of the Light House will continue a long-standing local tradition by hosting the 23rd Bountiful Harvest.   This annual event benefits the Light House, a homeless prevention support center in Annapolis, Maryland and will take place from 7-10 PM at the Bistro at the Golf Club at South River. This year’s new venue and Saturday evening date will bring new energy to the event, which has grown to be the largest annual fundraiser for the non-profit.

The 2013 Bountiful Harvest will include:

  • Chefs from local restaurants and catering companies who partner with the Friends of the Light House to provide their time, creativity and specialty foods to create a unique and delicious cuisine that delights the palates of guests.
  • Culinary students from the Light House’s B.E.S.T. program showcasing their talents alongside local chefs.
  • A wide array of silent auction and live auction items donated by local shops, restaurants, vendors and area individuals.
  • Music, dancing and other entertainment.
  • Complimentary valet parking, thanks to a generous donation from Towne Park.

Tickets are $100 each and include entry into the event, open bar, delicious gourmet food from local chefs, and entertainment. For an additional $35, guests are invited to attend a pre-event wine, beer and scotch tasting starting at 6PM; space for these tastings is limited.

Tickets and admission to the pre-event tastings can be purchased online at www.friendsLHS.org/bountiful-harvest, or by contacting Friends Events at [email protected] or 443-569-4209.  To learn more about the event, donate an auction item, or volunteer for the Bountiful Harvest, visit www.FriendsLHS.org  or contact Friends Events at [email protected].
