Champion Realty announced today that Dawn Marie Miller has joined Champion Realty as a full-service agent focusing on residential clients in Anne Arundel, Calvert and Prince George’s Counties. She will work out of Champion’s Annapolis office at 711 Bestgate Road.
Miller, a certified residential appraiser with 10 years of experience, decided to expand into real estate because of the benefits her in-depth knowledge of the residential market will bring to buyers and sellers. “As a seasoned appraiser, I’ve developed unique skills and insights that allow me to give customers a better understanding of the real estate market today. I am very attuned to details, I’m thorough in assessing each property and I know what specific neighborhoods offer,” she said. “I’ve always wanted to get into real estate, and now is the right time.”
Miller also has 16 years of experience as a district sales manager in the retail industry, where she was responsible for the customer service success of 160 employees. “I learned how to relate to all kinds of people and be a good listener,” she said, skills that are critical in real estate. “I’ve been told that people feel comfortable with me and that they appreciate the speed with which I respond to calls and messages.” She chose to affiliate with Champion Realty because of its knowledgeable brokers and managers and its outstanding training system for newer agents, she said.
“We are thrilled that Dawn Marie has joined our Annapolis office as a full-time agent,” said Pat Savani, manager of the Annapolis office. “Having run a very successful appraising company, she brings valuable skills and professionalism to the practice of real estate.”
“Dawn Marie has the perfect background to be a success in real estate, and we are pleased to welcome her to the team,” said Jon Coile, CEO of Champion Realty. “The biggest question facing most sellers is what price to ask for their property. Who better to tell them than a very experienced appraiser? Dawn’s additional background in customer service and as a mom gives her great empathy—as well as multi-tasking ability and other skills needed for a bright future with Champion.”
