Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) President and CEO Lara Fritts are pleased to welcome Grand Paws Pet Salon and Spa to its new location.
Grand Paws Pet Salon and Spa provides the best environment possible for pets and the highest quality of service. The salon and spa offers quick turnaround times, minimal time in a kennel, playtime and socialization and a variety of unique spa services.
The official ribbon cutting took place on Tuesday, October 15, at their 921-B Chesapeake Avenue address. Earlier this year, owner Heather Hinkle moved her pet salon from West Annapolis to its current location in Eastport. She said the new location allows for more space to accommodate her growing clientele.
“Annapolis is known for being a dog-friendly city, Mayor Cohen said. “While many of our residents are dog and cat-friendly, having businesses that caters to the individual demands of our pet community fulfills a genuine need and is part of our enduring appeal.”
“We realize choosing a place to take your pet for grooming can be a tough decision, Hinkle said. “We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and confidence. Pets are treated like family at Grand Paws Pet Salon. Each furry friend is treated to a happy, healthy, safe environment. As a result, most of our clients are repeat customers and referrals.”
Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“For many of us, our pets are members of our families,” said Lara Fritts. “AEDC is thrilled to see businesses expand, and moving to this new location speaks to the need for businesses that cater to the pet population and offer unique services.”
