This is an update to an earlier article on a stabbing that occurred at the Wawa convenience store on Veteran’s Highway in Millersville.

On 10/11/13 at approximately 1801hrs, officers from the Eastern District responded to the Wawa Store, located at 8200 Veterans Highway, Millersville for a report of a Stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 18 year-old male victim who stated that he was stabbed by an unknown white male, after exchanging words with him on the parking lot.  The victim was the passenger in a truck leaving the parking lot of Wawa when the suspects (4) pulled behind the victim’s truck and words were exchanged. A passenger from the suspect vehicle exited the car and approached the driver of the truck with an alleged “Taser”. The victim exited the truck and confronted the first suspect and a fight broke out. At this time, everyone exited their vehicles to join the melee. The driver of the suspect vehicle ran up behind the victim and punched him once in the side. Then all four suspects re-entered their vehicle (a black Mitsubishi) and fled south on Veterans Highway. It was then discovered that the victim had suffered a knife wound rather than a punch. The victim was transported to University Hospital where it was learned that he sustained a non- life threatening wound to the side which collapsed a lung.

Eastern District Platoon 2 Officers, and Eastern District Detectives conducted an investigation where 4 possible suspects were identified.  That investigation led to the arrest of 1 adult male, and 1 juvenile male.

Arrested: 17 Year-Old White Male Juvenile was cited on a juvenile citation with 2nd degree assault, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.
