Another Woman Robbed At Westfield Annapolis Mall

robberyOn October 7, 2013, at approximately 6:06 p.m., Officer from Southern District responded to a report of a citizen robbery in the parking lot of the M & T Bank located at 178 Jennifer Road, which is adjacent to the Westfield Annapolis Mall.

Upon arrival officers spoke with the female victim who reported that she was getting out of her vehicle in the parking lot. During that time an unknown male approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground while at the same time taking her purse. The victim sustained a minor ankle injury as a result of the incident. The male fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.  Because the suspect approached from behind, the victim was unable to obtain any type physical description to include the race or clothing worn by the suspect.

Members of the Southern District Detective Unit and a K-9 responded to assist in the investigation. At this time the investigation is still on going.

      Good point. It is a stock image we purchased the rights to for “robbery”. I will see if we can get one without the gun.
