2 Armed Robbers Remain On LooseAnne Arundel County police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred over the weekend.  Officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Domino’s Pizza in the 5700 block of Deale Churchton Road at about 1:44 a.m. Sunday. A man with a dark-colored handgun had demanded money and a cellphone from an employee as he was leaving, police said.  Officers said the man was black, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and was wearing a camouflage ski mask, sunglasses and a thick black coat.

Man Arrested In Glen Burnie Shooting. A man shot Sunday in an apparent domestic incident has died, police said. Anne Arundel County police said Matthew Martin Pinkerton, 34, of Glen Burnie was charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and a gun charge. Police said officers were called shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday to Pinkerton’s house in the 400 block of Arbor Drive, where a man was found dead on the front porch.

Judge Rules For Ousted Anne Arundel Councilman.  A judge says an ordinance that removed former Anne Arundel County Councilman Daryl Jones from office in 2012 is invalid, and his lawyer says the ruling clears the way for Jones to return to the council. The council unanimously voted to remove Jones after he pleaded guilty in federal court to failing to file a tax return. In his plea agreement, Jones acknowledged not filing more than three dozen tax returns between 2002 and 2006.

Police: Same Robber Strikes 3 Times.  Anne Arundel County police released updated pictures of a woman believed to be the suspect in three robberies and are asking for the public’s help identifying her. Police said one woman is responsible for an armed robbery at a CVS store at 2600 Annapolis Road in Severn, an attempted armed robbery of Rite Aid at 1712 Crain Hwy South, and armed robbery of Royal Farms at 200 Oak Manor Drive.
