Gang Of Teens Beat, Rob Another Teen At Arundel Mills Mall

robberyOn 8/31/13, at approximately 9:25 PM, officers from Western District Patrol responded to 7000 Arundel Mills Circle, the Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, for a reported assault.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 15 year old male victim from Baltimore. He advised he was walking inside the mall when an unknown group of 6 male juveniles passed him. One person in the group exchanged words with the victim and then punched him. When the victim tried to defend himself, the rest of the group surrounded him and assaulted him.

One of the suspects took the victim’s bag of merchandise and the group of juveniles fled the mall on foot. Patrol officers with assistance from mall security were able to locate and arrest 3 of the suspects nearby. The other suspects managed to flee the area on foot.

The victim sustained a minor facial injury and he was turned over to his father’s care and custody.

The suspected were charged as juveniles with robbery, assault and theft under $1,000.00. They were released to guardians.

  • 15 year old juvenile male from Severn
  • 16 year old juvenile male from Severn
  • 16 year old juvenile male from Baltimore

Outstanding Suspects: Described as black males in their teens.
