Gang Of Teens Beat Man, Steal Clothes In Brooklyn Park

robberyOn September 1, 2013 at approximately 5:05 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the area of Heritage Hill Drive and Polk Circle for a report of an assault that just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers located a male, 43 years of age who advised that he was jumped by a group of males and his clothes were stolen.  Further investigation determined that the victim was walking in the area of Heritage Hill Drive and Polk Circle when he was approached by a group of five male suspects.  After a brief verbal exchange, the group of male suspects began punching and kicking the victim, knocking him to the ground.  During the course of the assault, some of the suspects took the victim’s clothes from his body and fled the scene.  The victim was transported by Paramedics to Harbor Hospital for treatment.

Officers located a group of males in the block of 6400 block of Freedom Way, who were positively identified by the victim as some of the suspects involved in the robbery.  Three suspects were taken into custody and transported to Northern District.

They were charged on juvenile citations with robbery, assault, and reckless endangerment. They were released to their guardians.

  • Suspect #1: Juvenile black male, 15 years of age, of Glen Burnie.
  • Suspect #2: Juvenile black male, 16 years of age, of Glen Burnie
  • Suspect #3: Juvenile black male, 16 years of age, of Glen Burnie.
  • Suspect #4: Black male wearing green and blue shirt, no further description.
  • Suspect #5: Black male, unknown description.
