Police: 3 People Wanted In Connection With Robbery. Anne Arundel County police are looking for three people in connection with an armed robbery in Glen Burnie. A 19-year-old woman walked into Northern District to report an armed robbery around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the victim said at 11 p.m. she pulled her vehicle to the shoulder of West Ordnance near Shelly Road to wait for friends in another vehicle. She said while she waited, a Toyota Solara pulled up and a man got out of the car and put an unidentified metal object against her head.

Horseshoe Casino Going Up Quickly In Baltimore.  The new Horseshoe Casino is going up quickly as evidenced by the steel structure along Russell Street in south Baltimore. One of the big things casino officials stressed on a tour of the structure on Wednesday is jobs. The construction generates 2,000 jobs and when the casino is finished, another 1,700 jobs are coming to Baltimore.

University Of Maryland Among Top Party Schools.  The University of Maryland makes Playboy magazine’s list for Top 10 party schools. The rankings are featured in Playboy’s October 2013 college issue, officials announced Wednesday. This is the eighth time the magazine has published its party school rankings, and the first time West Virginia has taken top honors.

2 Men Hospitalized In North Baltimore Shooting.  Two men are hospitalized after a shooting in north Baltimore Wednesday evening. Officers were called around 6:50 p.m. to the 6000 block of Chinquapin Parkway for a report of gunshots. The officers didn’t find anyone shot, but two men walked into area hospitals a short time later.
