The Navy Midshipmen handed the not-so Fighting Blue Hens their first defeat yesterday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in the home opening football game. Navy defeated the University of Delaware 51-7 in front of a record breaking crowd of 36,208.
Navy seemed to have free reign to tromp up and down the field adding points to the board. Several challenged calls were also upheld in favor of Navy, but Delaware just seemed to miss the game.
