On September 15, 2013, at approximately 1:55 a.m., members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to [blackout]424 [/blackout]Arbor Drive, Glen Burnie, for a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim deceased on the front porch of the residence.  Officers learned that the victim was shot by the homeowner.

You can also type his name into Maryland Judiciary Case search and get the address.

True and you can also see he has no prior record here in MD.

  • Pat Hines

In actual fact, Mr. Pinkerton shot a stalker who was after his wife.

Life is tough, it’s worse if you’re stupid.

  • WhatAGeed

Why are you spinning this? He wasn’t “granted entry.” Pinkerton instructed him to leave and closed the door on him! Then he broke through the door! You conveniently COMPLETELY LEAVE THAT OUT to make it seem like this was some random murder. Then you say “no motive.” The motive is that the man broke into his house! No one will take your site seriously when you spin things like this. Shame on you

The information was what the police reported to us and it was sourced as such.

This wasn’t a murder. It was a man defending his home from a violent invader who wanted sexual access to the homeowner’s wife.

The media have been presenting a number of false statements regarding Matthew Pinkerton and Kendall Green.

You know, we’ve seen this kind of bullheaded persistence in falsehood from the media before. It was in regard to George Zimmerman shooting Trayvon Martin. Matthew Pinkerton might be the media’s George Zimmerman #2.

  • bobo

    You mean 424?

  • http://www.eyeonannapolis.net/ John Frenaye

He was never referred to as a murderer. He was charged with murder and the source was the police department as was indicated!

    • Bob

“Man Murdered on Front Porch” Kind of implies someone did the murdering, dont ya think?

      • http://www.eyeonannapolis.net/ John Frenaye

Has there been a trial? Were the charged dropped?

        • John

Really? Does it matter if the charges where dropped or if there has been a trial? The fact that you put “Man murdered on Front Porch” implies that you feel there was a murder, not an alleged murder. You can put any comment you want after mine, but the fact is that you wrote “Man murdered on Front Porch” before the trial has started. You “appear” to have an obvious bias and should hold yourself to a higher standard of journalism.

Stop with the lies behind lies. Fix the fucking story. He “gained entry” not granted. Change your title to Man charged with murdering another man over altercation.

Stop this spinning story bullshit and act like an actual journalist you bias piece of shit.

Fix your fucking story. You are a disgrace to the field of journalism. Your job is to report exact facts, not what you think are facts.

Fuck off, I’ll be sure to get your bullshit face well known for your lack of discipline in reporting.

Want to prove me wrong? Link me to the full unadultered police report so I can find the part where he was given entry. I don’t want quotes I want the full report that YOU used. Saying according to the police report is not enough. I want to see it with my own fucking eyes.

I hope you prove me wrong, because it’ll show a bigger problem than a fucking bias reporter.

  • Anon

Not that I doubt this, but I’ve been looking for a legitimate source for the alleged door kicking. Do you happen to have one?

  • WordsHaveMeaning

Your diction paints a pretty biased picture. If you want to blame your word usage on information ‘as the police reported’ it to you, at least cite them as the source of the claimed facts as known instead of retroactively trying to cover your backside.

Which part of “Source: AACoPD” did you not understand?

  • mkkms

This story is BS. The man who was arrested was the actual victim. The REAL suspect (Green) kicked in the front door. The home owner was defending himself and his wife when he shot the intruder inside his own residence. .

  • dreamer23

“Murder” is a VERY specific legal term. Until the Jury decides whether this was justifiable self-defense (which all evidence supports) or something else, the media calling this shooting a “murder” is journalistically irresponsible, ethically reprehensible, and nothing more than pure, unabashed anti-gun propaganda.

This man was defending his home, his own life, and the safety of his family. Calling this “murder” is the pinnacle of dirty journalism, and the editors of this site should be ashamed…
